ALLPRESSED UP.
FAQ's
1
Where is Allpressed Up coffee and matcha café in Camden?
Allpressed Up is an independent specialty coffee and matcha café at 110 Camden Road, London NW1, just a short walk from Camden Road Overground station. We’re a neighbourhood spot for anyone in Camden, Camden Town, Kentish Town or King’s Cross who wants a properly made coffee or matcha.
2
What grade matcha do you use?
We use ceremonial grade matcha, and every matcha is hand whisked to order, never batch-made. Ceremonial grade gives a smoother, sweeter, less bitter cup with a vibrant green colour.
3
Are your coffee beans ethically sourced?
Yes. Our beans come from small farmers, in a blend of Brazil and Peru. We buy from small producers because it supports the people growing the coffee and gives us a balanced, sweet, easy-drinking cup.
4
What’s the difference between matcha and coffee, and which should I order?
Coffee gives a faster, stronger caffeine hit. Matcha gives a gentler, longer lift from its natural caffeine and L-theanine, with less jitteriness. If you want a bold, punchy start, go for coffee. If you want calm, steady focus, go for matcha. Our baristas are happy to help you choose.
5
What are the best drinks to try at Allpressed Up?
Our three favourites are our specialty coffee, our classic hand-whisked matcha, and our matcha blueberry, which is a customer favourite and a bit different from the usual matcha latte. If it’s your first visit, start with the matcha blueberry or a flat white.
6
Is Allpressed Up a good place to sit in and relax in Camden?
Yes. We’re designed as a sit-and-stay café with a warm, retro 90s feel, so it’s a good spot to meet a friend, catch up on reading or take a proper break from the day, not just grab a takeaway. Drop in on Camden Road and take your time. It is also dog friendly.
